Azure vs. inhouse SQL Server - the Wiki project results

As I blogged yesterday, the competition is on: in-house SQL Server vs. Windows Azure.

It does feel like the war of the robots!

Yesterday I started importing the data, and today I have some results.

Analysis of SQL Azure performance tests

In the past few days I performed a few tests of the performance of SQL Azure.

After all I am quite disappointed with the performance, and to be honest, I don’t see how certain performance problems will be overcome, but I guess the time will tell.

Simple T-SQL Proper Case User-Defined Function

Today I found a nice ol’ post about Simple T-SQL Proper Case User-Defined Function

What this function does, it takes a string and makes the words a proper case.
